I love this room

 

I love this room and have spent thousands of late-night hours here surrounded by many books. There’s the set of proofs I kept putting off for 3 years until I met—and beloved—its author at a place. There’s the novel by writers I knew of only by their reputation, until they became my favorite bosses. Then there’s the out-of-print biography I scoured the Internet to search—and finally scored from a used-book dealer in Taichung. 我喜歡這個房間，並在我的書周圍度過了數千個深夜。許多證明一直我遲拖延了3年，直到我在一個地方上遇到了——並深愛——那些作者。有多部我因名氣而認識作家小說，直到他們成為喜歡老闆們。然後是我在網路上搜索的絕版自傳——最後是從臺中的一家舊書經銷商那裡獲得的。
